Train Project (in progress)
I ride a commuter train in Utah called the Frontrunner. It's a little over an hour each way, and it's quickly become a sanctuary for me. Work is stressful, life is busy, things move quickly. The train gives me a moment to myself before I start my day.
But what’s really special about public transit is that I’m sharing a space with a bunch of people who are doing the same thing as me. Not necessarily doing the exact same thing, but we’re all taking a breath before starting the day. There’s something beautiful about that.
There's a quiet mutual respect on the train. Some people sleep, eat, or read, while others look out the window, scroll their phone, or start work early. It’s a pause before delving into the chaotic world we live in.
The point of this project is to document that moment.
